The lawyers at Baldwin|Mader Law Group (BMLG) have extensive experience as former staff Attorneys at the SEC in Washington DC, former NASD-FINRA registered individuals and trial attorneys. BMLG has successfully handled hundreds of securities arbitrations and other proceedings involving claims for fraud and misrepresentation, violation of Rule 10b-5, breach of fiduciary duty, unsuitability, contractual disputes, and other claims arising out of the customer-financial institution relationship before virtually every industry forum (SEC, NASD-FINRA, PCX, NYSE).

BLG was founded by Patrick Baldwin, following a three year (’82-’85) assignment with the Securities Exchange Commission in Washington D.C. Mr. Baldwin attended Loyola University (BA ’72), University of Colorado (MA ’75) and obtained his law degree (JD ’79) from the Hastings College of Law, University of Cal – San Francisco. He is joined by Christopher Mader who obtained his law degree from Hastings College of Law (JD ’98). Mr. Mader was also a stockbroker with Bank of America Investments for 2 years. He joined BLG in 2005. The firm also has two additional attorneys who are of counsel. Michael Miller who has extensive litigation experience and Hugh O’Boyle who has years of experience in SEC related cases. BMLG is a “boutique” law firm, specializing in cases dealing with securities law.
